Recruitment Policies
New members
There are no cold applications. If you want to be a member of Seelund Trading Co., you need to get to know the current members. No one will be admitted without at least one current member of Journeyman rank or above vouching for them. The exception to this is real-life family of a member of any rank, who can be sponsored in by that member. All admittance is subject to approval by a Captain or by the Guilder.
New members must meet a minimum requirement of level 15.
We do not have any restrictions or requirements on race or class.
Alts
We're alt-friendly. We're here to hang together and have fun together. If you are not already a member of journeyman rank or above, your characters come in just like new members (see above). We would, however, like to know who your main is if it is not in STC (you can tell a Captain or the Guilder privately if you wish). If you are already a member of Journeyman rank or above, you can bring in whatever alts you like, though no more than two of below level 15, and assign them to any rank equal or below your current rank.
Returning Members
Returning members who left under good terms come back as new apprentices, regardless of previous position. Very rare exceptions may be made for sufficiently compelling out-of-game reasons to reinstate you to your previous rank (for example, if you leave because you're shipping overseas for a year and think you won't be able to play, but then get there and discover you have a good enough connection to play after all). |
